Milliken & Company Ranks Among Best Employers for New Graduates
Spartanburg, S.C. — For the first time, Milliken & Company makes Forbes Best Employers for New Graduates list. This honor, drawing from the input of more than 28,000 young professionals, highlights organizations based in the U.S. respected by participants and their peers. On the heels of recognition as one of the Best Midsize Employers and Best Employers for Diversity, this accolade illustrates an important element in Milliken’s talent acquisition and retention efforts.
“We welcome new graduates to begin their journey at Milliken, and we provide them the resources to build a career as part of our team,” shares Craig Haydamack, Milliken’s chief human resources officer. “Graduates can come to Milliken and contribute in meaningful ways from day one.”
The diversified global manufacturer offers a range of administrative, professional and skilled positions within its textile, specialty chemical, floor covering and healthcare businesses, as well as within its corporate structure. Once at Milliken, new associates are offered professional development opportunities, networking and mentoring programs, an associate network designed to support professionals who have been with Milliken less than three years, and a cross-functional approach to career mapping that allows associates to visualize what a tailored career experience could look like.
“New graduates bring fresh perspectives that make Milliken stronger,” said Halsey Cook, Milliken’s president and CEO. “Together we see endless potential for innovation. They represent the future of our company and the world.”
Milliken is one of 11 manufacturers included on the list of 300 organizations. To view the entire list, visit Forbes.com.
