Chemical intermediates, including free acid versions have a variety of uses as curing agents, corrosion inhibitors, water removal agents, plasticizers and fuel additives.
Anhydrides have a broad range of industrial applications, including epoxy curing, fuel and oil additives, plasticizers, starch modifiers and toner resins. They may be used as intermediates in the preparation of alkyd or unsaturated polyester resins and in chemical reactions.
