WellBAC® Comfort carpet tiles use 78% recycled foam for cushion backing, prolonging the life expectancy of the carpet tiles compared with hardback products.

The use of recycled foam results in 14-22% less new raw material used in WellBAC® Comfort carpet tiles.

Moisture Management

WellBAC® open-cell and non-reactive cushion backing is a moisture solution all by itself. It allows the floor to breathe and moisture to evaporate, enhancing the installation process. It also minimises damp conditions, reducing the environment for mold and mildew.

Both our carpet and LVT have a one-step no-test warranty option, saving significantly on floor preparation, materials, and installation.

WellBAC® Backing Features & Benefits

Sustainability

WellBAC® cushion backing is 100% PVC FREE, using a safe and non-reactive Polyolefin based composite and is third-party verified Declare Red List Free.

All WellBAC® cushion backings are 100% recyclable in its end of life.

The felt layer is made from recycled polyester (PET). Every square carpet tile uses 5 recycled water bottles.

Milliken's innovative open-cell cushion provides the best combination of durability and support, with superior protection against wear and tear. Unlike closed cell cushions, this type of carpet backing 're-inflates' after compression, protecting carpet fibers for longer than any other type of carpet backing.
